Wild west card game adventure

Card Cowboy is a free card game from indie developer Chris Wade. In this old western-themed adventure, a lone cowboy is out seeking revenge on the man who robbed him. He will scour the wild west in order to find his mark.

Similar to Call of Juarez: Gunslinger or Red Dead Redemption II, Card Cowboy will take players on a journey across the old frontier to dish out their brand of justice by any means necessary. Players are dealt a hand of cards, and it's up to them to make the most of what they have.

A rooting-tooting time

Card Cowboy tells a classic tale of revenge. You play as a lone cowboy out to get revenge on the man who robbed him. You'll set out on a journey across the wild west to look for clues and pick up a trail on the dastardly varmint who did you wrong. However, you'll realize that your decisions and actions have a greater effect on the world around you.

True to its name, this game features gameplay that revolves around a card system. You are dealt a hand of cards, and you will base your actions and decisions on that contained group of choices. This mechanic adds a level of unpredictability to the experience as you can never really get a good grasp of what could happen until they're right in front of you.

The game's map is laid out in a tabletop-like manner with branching paths. You basically decide how your adventure will unfold based on this premise. Regardless, you will be encountering a variety of interesting characters along the way that can either be friend or foe. However, despite everything it has going on, the actual gameplay is short, typically only lasting a few minutes each session.

Wheeling and dealing

Overall, if you like western games about cowboys, Card Cowboy is an interesting one worth checking out. It looks nice, easy to get into the story, and its card-based gameplay offers plenty of fun and variety. The whole experience only lasts a few minutes, though, and hopefully, it could be expanded in the future. If you want something to help pass the time, give this one a try.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
